Dennis L. Orme

Dennis L. Orme, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away after a year-long battle with cancer. He was born on December 13, 1947 in Corydon, IN to Melvin and Ethelda (Rhoades) Orme. Dennis retired from McClure Oil in 2012 to go into business with his son. He was a former Elder and Deacon at John Knox Presbyterian Church. Dennis is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy (Gardner) Orme; daughter, Jennifer (William) Pierce; son, Jeffrey (Jessica) Orme; grandsons, Theodore and Nicholas Pierce; sisters, Bonnie Saulman and Patricia Swallows; brothers, Jann, Donald, Gary and Randy Orme. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry Orme. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 1pm at John Knox Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the services, also at the church. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to either John Knox Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.
