Delores Hook

Mrs. Delores Hook 88, Greenwood, died February 27, 2014. Delores was born January 12, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Oscar and Nora May (Glover) Doughty. Dee is best known as a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She spent her entire life as a licensed cosmetologist. Her hobbies included gardening, volunteering, cooking and entertaining family and friends. She had a continuous and great devotion for her family. Delores is survived by her sons, Jim (Judy) and David (Linda) Cashe; sisters Mary Blume and Frances Smith; brother, Richard Doughty; 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a host of family, relatives and friends. Family and friends may call Tuesday March 4, 2014 from 12pm-1pm at Flanner and Buchanan –Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive Indianapolis, Indiana 46228. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1pm. Entombment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
