Debra S. Thornton

Debra S. Thornton, 54, Indianapolis passed away June 5, 2015 at home. She was born July 6, 1960 in Indianapolis to the late Lloyd E. and Ruby (Cromer) Thornton. Debra had worked for Interstate Warehouse as lead customer service clerk in shipping /receiving. She was a member of Edgewood United Methodist Church. She enjoyed riding her Harley-Davidson and loved being with family and friends and was a wonderful Granny. Debra is survived by her husband, James "Ed" Fleming; grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Little Debra, Katelyn, Jackson and Shyanna; great grandchild, Jasmine; siblings, Kathy Jo Tate, Paul Thornton, James Thornton, Donna Thornton and Johnny Thornton. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Matthew McKinney. Visitation will be 4 to 9 pm Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Service will be 11 am Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
