Debra L. O'Malia

Debra L. O’Malia, 52 of Carmel, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at IU Cancer Center. Debi was born August 31, 1958 in Anderson, IN. She attended Purdue University. She was an entrepreneur, recently founding Crown Jewels. Debi loved traveling and helping others. She was known for her charismatic and uplifting personality and beautiful smile. A service celebrating Debi’s life will be at 5:00 pm Thursday, March 10 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Carmel, where friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 pm until the time of the service. Debi was an amazing mother and is survived by her children, Austin X. O’Malia and Alyssa E. O’Malia; mother, Barbara Parker; sister, Anita Stewart; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Everett “Sonny” Parker. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
