Deborah Courtney

Our beloved Deborah O. Courtney passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025. 

She is remembered with love by her daughters Julie and Nicole; her granddaughter Olivia; Laura and Bryce Johnson; grandchildren Kylie and Aaron Bytendorp, Jake, and Jade; and great-grandchildren Bodhi and Bennett. 

Deborah cherished her time with her husband, George Courtney. Together, they enjoyed attending jazz festivals, Tony Bennett concerts, services at St. Christopher’s, and outings to the movies. She was a devoted mother to “My Girls” and found great joy in spending time with them. Among her many roles in life, being a grandmother was her favorite – she delighted in hearing about the lives and adventures of her grandchildren. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
