Deborah Lynn Stover

October 8, 1956 — August 7, 2021

Indianapolis, IN

Deborah (Debbie) Lynn Stover was born into this world on October 8th, 1956. She was and always will be the beloved child of Les & Ordena Stover. The world dimmed considerably on August 7th, 2021 when the Lord called this sweet baby homeafter an unexpected illness. She was the oldest child of Les & Ordena’s, stealing the show from her younger siblings; Cindy(Rick) Morris, Donna Combs & Brenda (Robert Murray) Ellis.

Debbie was so excited to be a part of this world that she was born so premature she had no chance of survival. Our Lord looked down on her and must have said this child will beat the odds so she can show the world the wonderous miracles of My mercy and love because through His grace Debbie did survive. She fought to survive the high fevers and seizures that ravaged her mind and body shortly after as well. Our Debbie was a warrior and she proved herself worthy of the miracles our Lord graced her with daily. She survived and she thrived with the love of a mother whose devotion had no end. Debbie spent her life surrounded not only by her loving mother but also by the love of her family and a community who have always kept her close to their hearts. She touched everyone she met. To know her was to love her and she was always quick to tell you she loved you too.The things that made Debbie happy were simple. She found great joy in spending her days in “school” (Noble of Indiana) with her friends. The fun she had there didn’t compare to the joy she found at Calvary Temple which later became the Caring Place. Debbie loved the Lord even more than she loved us and she joined in on the praise and worship every chance she got. Every Sunday she would come back home for Sunday dinner worn out from all the excitement but starting on Monday morning she was asking everyone she saw if she was going back to church yet. She never tired of praising God. When sweet Debbie wasn’t in church or school she spent her time sitting right next to her Daddy watching all their favorite shows. Debbie was her Mommy’s world but Debbie’s world was her Daddy. She adored him and he adored her. He went ahead of her to Heaven on January 6th of this year and Debbie never got over losing him. Those of us left behind to miss them both take comfort in knowing that they are together again rejoicing in thesight of the glorious face of Jesus.

Services will be held at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021. Public visitation will be held from 10am-12pm with services immediately following and entombment at Washington Park East Cemetery.

Our family would like to thank the members of the Caring Place & Noble for their support. We would also like to thank the team of doctors and nurses on the 4th floor of St Vincent hospital. These brave people cared and fought for Debbie for over three weeks trying to save her. We will forever be in their debt for their efforts.

Debbie, we are lost without you but know you’re having a blastdancing for Jesus with your Daddy at your side once again. We love you so, fly high sweet angel of ours!
