Deborah Bischoff
On February 19, 2012, we said see you soon not goodbye to the most beautiful woman and the princess of our hearts, Deborah Joyce Kirkman Bischoff, 60. Debby was surrounded by her family and friends when she was called home into our loving Fathers hands after and long and courageous battle of breast cancer.
Debby was the first baby born in Linton, Indiana on January 1, 1952. True to that first celebration, Debby embraced and celebrated life. Debby was the youngest of two sisters and one brother and the light of her parent's life. Debby was a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School and she went on to get a degree from Indiana Central College in computer science. Debby was a employee of Indiana National Bank until its closing at which time she went to work for EDS, now HP, as a System Analyst.
Debby loved to dance and she performed in competition ballroom dancing and won first place in every competition. Debby was gifted in so many talents, but her favorite was singing and she was blessed with a beautiful voice. Debby won many karaoke contests and worked for a time as a karaoke DJ. On August 5, 1995, Debby married the love of her life, Sylvester Bischoff, that she endearingly called Sal Baby. Debby was a member of Faith Chapel in Knightstown, Indiana. Debby was also the queen mother of The Red Hats of Indiana, the Red Hot Ladies.
Debby is now singing in heaven with her daddy, John Sherman Kirkman and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Debby is survived by her husband Sal and her baby, a west highland terrier, Bella, her mother and dad, Norma Jean and Earl Brooks of Knightstown, IN, stepmother Jean Kirkman of Indianapolis, two sisters, Christina (Russell) Coogle, Cecilia KY, Patricia (Gary) Sergent of Knightstown, IN, a brother, John (Charlene) Kirkman II, Morgantown, IN, two sisters in law, Eileen (Eric) Hado of Hopewell NY, Anne Bischoff, Cincinnati, OH, a great aunt Mary Bennett, Columbus, IN, four nieces, seven nephews, and many great nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
