Dean Kirby

Dean Kirby, age 70 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday evening, March 30, 2024.

Per Dean's wishes, Cremation Rites will be accorded and no services will be held.

Dean was born on January 19, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of Estell and Georgia (Blythe) Kirby.

He is survived by his loving partner of 33 years: Jean Ann Hodson of Indianapolis, Indiana, as well as Dean and Jean’s best friend: Jeanella Peters.

He is also survived by three brothers: Floyd Kirby of Plainfield, Indiana, Richard Kirby of Greenwood, Indiana, and Robert Kirby of Greenwood, Indiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents mentioned above, as well as one sister in infancy: Arlene Kirby in 1949.

Dean grew up in Indianapolis on the East side.  At four years of age, Dean began attending the Indiana School For The Deaf.  Over the years, Dean enjoyed playing poker and euchre.  He was a very social individual who enjoyed going to the Deaf Club weekly to be with his friends and peers.
