Dayna Copas
62, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. Dayna was born on November 4, 1954 to her parents, Robert and Martha Jane (Kivett) Wagoner.
After graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree, Dayna worked in the medical field as a radiologist and a medical transcriptionist. After many years of hard work, Dayna retired and enjoyed her time with her family and friends.
Dayna’s main love in life was her family. Her focus was always on her husband and children. She loved to cook, and when the holidays came around she always enjoyed cooking and having the family over to her house. Dayna was a true mother figure for her family, showing love, care, and compassion to all of her family members.
Dayna was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Martha. She is survived by her husband, David Copas; sons: Tyler Copas and Jacob Copas; and siblings: Terri Newsom, Sally Portteus, Neal Wagoner, and Randy Wagoner.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. A memorial service will follow at 4p.m.
