Dawn Lorraine Hensley

Dawn Lorraine Hensley 70, resident of Decatur Township has passed away October 6, 2026. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Roy and Wabel (Miller) Day. Dawn had been a Line Inspector and Dock Worker for People’s Drugs for many years. She enjoyed boating, fishing, going to Yard Sales, and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many. Dawn is survived by her best friend, Mikey R. Gregory, her children, Starla Day, Christy Hensley, Amanda Hensley (Will Smith), 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and her brother, Roy Day. The family would like to provide they’re thanks to Sandy Sells for being a very special friend and always being there for her in her time of need. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, 10:00am-2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the Funeral Service immediately following at 2:00pm, there.
