Davy J. West

Davy J. West, 90 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away March 8, 2015. He was a Job Setter for Allison Division of General Motors retiring after 37 years. He proudly served his country in the U S Navy. He was a member of the Moose Lodge#17,and a member of the UAW Local #933. He was said to be straight forward, speaking what was on his mind. He was proud of his military service, enjoyed fishing NASCAR, football and most any other sporting event. He truly loved his dogs and spoiled them tremendously. Davy is survived by his wife, Mary (Linder) West , children, Adrian M. Byerly, Dawn R. West, 8 grandchildren,5 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and daughter-in-laws, Darlene and Sandy West. He is preceded in death by his sons, Fred and David, and brothers, Ray and Curtis West. Services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 1PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur Township with visitation there Friday, March 20th 4-8 PM. He will be entombed at Washington Park North Cemetery.
