David William Clear

David William Clear Of Indianapolis passed away on November 6, 2014 at the age of 93, surrounded by his loving family. David was known for his generous and giving spirit by all who knew him. He served in the U.S Army where he served his country proudly in WWII and the Korean War. David had a devoted love for God and family, he was an avid train and garden lover. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Phyllis Clear; daughter Linda Davis (David); son Robert Woodruff (Judy); grandchildren Tammy Smith (Greg), Lori Fowler (Scott), Christina White (Matthew), Angela Hastings (Russell), Brian Davis, Erick Schluter (Wendy); 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; A host of loving niece's, nephew's, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother John and Azza Clear; brothers Paul Clear and Calvin Clear. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with funeral service Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 11:00am. Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East 10722 E.
