David S. Koenig, 57, Fishers, Indiana passed away at 11:00 pm Monday July 6, 2021. Born, December 11, 1963 in Kokomo, Indiana, he is the son of the late Ronald and Ruby Koenig. He graduated from Eastern High School in 1982. Dave loved sports, and grew up just like his brother, playing baseball coached by his dad. He also played and loved golf, tennis, and watching IU Basketball. After graduation, Dave moved to Santa Barbara, CA where he enjoyed the beautiful West Coast climate. Many times, he would call his friends in Indiana during our cold winter season, just to say how much he was enjoying the perfect weather. But, as many do, he returned home. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford Koenig, Izola Koenig, James Crabtree, and Geneva Crabtree.
David is survived by his wife Julie, of Fishers, one brother Jerry Koenig and wife Patty of Westfield, and his in-laws August and Lois McCollum of Noblesville.
