David S. Ayers 68, passed away November 11, 2013 at his home. He was born April 17, 1945 in Richwood, West Virginia the son of Lovda (Williams) and Hobart Ayers. David was a Westside small business owner, operating, Marathon, Amoco stations and Ron & Dave's Airport Auto Repair. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 500 and American Legion Wayne Post # 64. David was an avid golfer, Colts fan and enjoyed gardening and cooking. He was a great friend, loved his family and was a staunch Republican and CEO of the 37th Street Republican Committee. David is survived by his daughter, Janelle (Robert) Eanes; grandchildren, Kristen, Samantha, and "little buddy" Daniel Eanes; brothers, Robert and Grant (Janet) Ayers; sister, Iva Phillips; fiancé, Wanda Keith and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nannette; sons, David Jr. and Michael; brothers, Jim and Bill and a sister, Mary Lou. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 with funeral service at 8:00 p.m. Friday at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park , 425 N. Holt Rd.
