David Scott Phillips

David Scott Phillips, age 56 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025.

David was born on May 25, 1968 in Indianapolis, a son of James E. and Phyllis (Wall) Phillips. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his three brothers: James Steven (wife Carrie) Phillips of Linton, Indiana, Thomas Dale (wife Tammy) Phillips of Indianapolis, and Joe Phillips of Indianapolis.

David’s daughter: Caitlyn Phillips of Indianapolis. David’s granddaughters, Caitlyn’s two daughters: Elliana and Amilia Vargas.

Many nieces, nephews, other family members and relatives survive.

David was a friend to everyone. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The Bible Church of Indianapolis, located at 6555 Payne Road, Indianapolis 46203.

David’s funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM – also at The Bible Church of Indianapolis. Pastor Jarrid Younkin will officiate.

Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
