David Mcclain Williams

David McClain Williams, 68, of Avon, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016. He was born on February 27, 1947 in Indianapolis to Francis McClain and Betty Jean (Jeffries) Williams. David was a 1965 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a Manager for various retail stores in Indianapolis and retired from Allied OSI. David was also member of St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg. He is survived by his siblings, Jeanie (David) Scully, Danny (Mary) Williams and Kathy Carter; 7 nephews, 5 great-nephews and 5 great-nieces. David was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Wilbert L. Carter, who passed away last year. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11am in St. Malachy Catholic Church with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
