David Hugh Breedlove

David Hugh Breedlove, 67, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday. He was born the eldest son of Alva Don and Winnifred (Handell) Breedlove on May 28, 1946. David was a faithful Christian, who regularly attended during his life Traders Point Church of Christ of Indianapolis, Westlake Church of Christ of Indianapolis, and Union Grove Baptist Church of Union Grove, WI. He had resided at the Shepherd's Home and School in Union Grove, WI since 1985. His greatest joy was spending time with or talking about his 24 nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. David enjoyed watching and participating in many different sports. He competed in the Special Olympics both in Indiana and Wisconsin. He enjoyed showing his many ribbons and explaining each event. David was previously employed at Pike High School of Indianapolis, Goodwill Industries of Indianapolis, and Nobel Industries of Indianapolis. David is survived by brothers, Dale Breedlove, of Pittsboro, IN, Darrell Breedlove of Oldenburg, IN, and Allen Breedlove of Unionville, IN; sister, Anita Bishop, of Dana, IN; step-mother, Pauline Breedlove; nephews, Brian Smith, Thad Smith, Trad Breedlove, Tyler Breedlove, Joshua Bishop, and Graham Bishop; nieces, Melanie Pita, Jessica Lien, and Elizabeth Hunt; six great-nephews, and nine great-nieces. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Shepherd's Home and School. Visitation will be held Monday from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North.
