David H. Brothers

David H. Brothers, 81, of Saddlebrooke, Arizona, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at his home. He was born July 20, 1933 in Oakland City, Indiana to the late Wesley H. and Golda Williams Brothers. David proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He worked many years at Williamette Industries in Indianapolis. Upon his retirement, he moved to Arizona, and enjoyed 20 happy years there with his family. David is survived by his wife Patricia; sons Christopher (Shelly) Phillips and David W. Brothers; sisters Susie Jackson and Jackie Boucher; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Rutledge, as well as his dog Persha. The family is being served by Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington Street where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
