David H. Bowman

David H. Bowman, 31, of Speedway left our lives on December 13, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of this city. David was born on June 29, 1984. He graduated from Speedway High School in 2003. After high school, David attended Oakland City University on a soccer scholarship. David was a fun-loving person who had a contagious smile with the ability to make everyone around him laugh. He had a passion for barbering, and he used his talents to connect with people from all walks of life.

He is survived by his parents Mike and Patty Bowman of Speedway. He is also survived by his brother Michael Bowman and Paige Davis of Speedway, as well as his niece Abigail and nephew Mason. He also leaves behind Uncle Jim, cousins, and an immeasurable amount of family & friends.

Calling will be from 9-1 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Speedway Moose Lodge #500, 4917 W. Vermont. Services to honor David will follow at 1:00 pm. David will be laid to rest at Washington Park North Cemetery with a short graveside service.
