David H. Baughman
84, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011. He was born September 23, 1926, in Sarasota, Florida, to the late Guy and Hazel Baughman.
David served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific on the USS Curtis. He retired from Brand Service Center in 1992 after 20+ years of service. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and was a member of Holy Name and Nativity Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara Jean Baughman; children, Steve (Kathy) Baughman, Terri (Alan) Kinney, Tom (Debbie) Baughman, Jeannie (Benny) Oskins, Jeff (Theresa) Baughman, Susan Kendall; sister, Betty (Ralph) Brim; 16 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for David will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. A mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, at Nativity Catholic Church, 7225 Southeastern Avenue. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
