David Franklin Morrisey

January 6, 1954 — March 30, 2019

David Franklin Morrisey, 65, passed away peacefully March 30th, 2019 at St, Vincent Hospice. He was born January 6th 1954 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Ethel and Robert Morrisey, who preceded him in death. David married his college sweetheart, Regina (Corabi) Morrisey January 7th, 1978 who survives him.

David attended Washington & Jefferson College, Washington, PA on an ROTC scholarship and served in the US Army upon graduation at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He spent the majority of his career in sales and enjoyed meeting and conversing with people. Selling to them was an added bonus. He played sports most of his life and enjoyed golf until his disability in 2017.

David was devoted to his wife, his family, and serving others. He served as an Elder at church and as a volunteer in Prison Ministry programs.

In addition to leaving behind the love of his life, Regina, he is survived by his sister Susan (Steve) Marcinko, nieces Tracey and Lisa Marcinko, several cousins, his mother-in-law Emma Corabi and sister-in-law, Anita Corabi.

Friends and family will be received at FLanner Buchanan – Carmel,  East Carmel Drive 325 East Carmel Drive 46032, on Thursday April 4th from 4pm to 8pm. His life will be celebrated at Christ Community Church, 4770 East Main Street 46033, on Friday, April 5th at 10am.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations made in David’s memory to Christ Community Church or St. Vincent Hospice, 8450 Payne Road #100, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
