David Meredith Fitch 63, of Zionsville, died on January 7, 2013, at his lake property in Putnam County. He was born July 15, 1949, in Indianapolis, to Frank and Rosemary Fitch. He was united in marriage with Tina Bowles on June 24, 1972.
David graduated from Broad Ripple High School, and attended Indiana State University and Indiana University, graduating from IU with a degree in Urban Planning. He was a member of Kappa Delta Rho fraternity. He established his own appraisal firm, Quality Appraisals in the late 1970s. His hobbies included renovating houses and spending time at their lake property.
Survivors include his wife Tina Fitch of Zionsville, son Ryan of New York City, Adam of Whitestown, and mother Rosemary Fitch, sister Susannah Johnson and brother-in-law Max Johnson of Lafayette. Also surviving are nephews Bret Johnson of Atlanta and Bart Johnson of Jacksonville Beach, FL.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Zionsville United Methodist Church at 9644 Whitestown Road in Zionsville. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastor Glenn Howell.
