David Michael Ellington

David Michael Ellington 69 of Camby, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2025, at 69 years of age. He was born on February 2, 1956, in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Michael Lee Ellington, and Joyce (Hickman) Gibson. David served his country in the United States Army for over 30 years, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He also worked in the Human Resource with Con Way Trucking Company. Beside his military career he had numerous interest that included being a Clown, going by the name of “Toddles”, he was a published author, and spending time with his family. David loved Jesus and he went on numerous Mission Trips and lead a bible study at a local nursing home facility. He is survived by his loving wife, Aileen C. (Feagans) Ellington, his children, April C. (Justin) Small, Amanda Rogers, his grandchildren, Victoria, Mattilyn, Brandon, Grayson, Maddie, Makenze, Bell, Sam, Abby, his brothers, Danny and Doanld Ellington, and Hope, his 4-legged faithful companion. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jaymie L. Lehrkamp and his brother, Steven Ellington.
