David E. Brown

David E. Brown 77, Coatsville, Indiana a former 57 year resident of Indianapolis, passed away March 11, 2014. He was born June 11, 1936 in Palestine, Illinois the son of Cecil and Edith (Leggitt) Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church and a graduate of Butler University. He served as vice president and secretary of Statesman Insurance Group, a member of the board of directors of Union Chapel Cemetery and an avid train enthusiast. Survivors: wife, Eileen Janice (Bisti) Brown, son Steve Brown; daughter, Linda Rolfsen. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Brown. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Friday, March 14, 2014 at Union Chapel Cemetery 8306 Union Chapel Road, Indianapolis.
