David A. Keim 64, Greenfield, passed away July 15, 2012. He was born in Olean, NY on May 20, 1948. David served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, retiring from the U.S. Army in 1993 and retired from DFAS in 2005. David was a lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion. He loved golf and bowling and was very active in the youth bowling program. David is survived by his loving wife, Joan (Learn) Keim; daughters, Eileen (Jay) Craig, Jill (George) Hobbs and Kristina (Scott) Blanchard; eight grandchildren; mother, Gertrude (Williams) Keim; siblings, Barbara Klingbeil, John Keim, Steve Keim and LeAnn Keim-Collavo. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Keim. A memorial service for David will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East with visitation from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. David will be laid to rest in Alleghany, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the All-Star Youth Bowling Program, 726 N. Shortridge Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46219.
