Darlene M. Dutton, 60 of Pendleton, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Darlene was born September 20, 1961 in Davenport, Iowa. She was an administrative assistant at Stanley Security.
Darlene was a member of Northview Church-Fishers where she volunteered and worked with the worship team in their audio/visual productions.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, following the visitation.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Greg; mother, Judy M. Elwartowski; siblings, Nancy (husband Charles) Cooper, Kay (husband, Armando Honesto) Elwartowski, Delynne Elwartowski, Brian (wife, Stacey) Elwartowski and Chad (wife, Nadia) Elwartowski; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Zachary, her father, Walter C. Elwartowski and stepmother Donna Elwartowski.
Darlene had a heart of gold and was the sweetest person you could ever meet. Even at the age of 60 she had a spirit of youthful innocence.
She lost a baby boy (Zachary) at 21 weeks and never had children after that. She became the troop leader to a local Girl Scout troop. Loves her nieces and nephews fiercely.
Darlene loves God and was very vocal about her beliefs. We all admire her for that.
She loved to sing, she acted in many plays around Indy. She always broke out in song wherever she was. She is now an angel singing in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
