Darlene G. Turner 55, Mt. Vernon, Indiana, a former Indianapolis resident, passed away April 4, 2014. She was born August 27, 1958 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Billy and Georgia (Shelton) Miniard. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. Survivors: husband, Jeffrey Featherston; daughter, Carolyn (James) Perkins; brothers, Danny (Bertha), Justin (Cheryl) and Keith (Sherry) Miniard; sisters, Kimberly (Buck) Owen, Christy (Jeff) Joseph and Sara (DJ) Duncan; grandchildren, Timothy, James and Dylan Perkins great-grandchildren, Mariah Perkins and Jayden Reese. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park 425 N. Holt Road Indianapolis, funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm.
