Darlene Edna (Feuchtmayer) Weaver, 76, passed into Heaven November 26, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Darlene is survived by her loyal husaband, Laurence E. "Chip" Weaver, who is from Perkasie, PA. Darlene and Chip celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on September 16th. Darlene was born at home on April 19, 1938 in Telford, PA to the late Nicholas and Edna Feuchtmayer. Darlene graduated from Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA, in 1956. She was a member of the marching band and enjoyed participating in sports. Darlene graduated from Keystone Jr. College and obtained her Bachelor's Degree from IUPUI. She also attended Christian Theological Seminary. Darlene was a loving homemaker and was a member of Servants of Christ Lutheran Church. Her calling was ministering to those in need. She sent cards and visited ailing and elderly family and friends. Darlene was known for her caring spirit to all. She was an avid IU basketball fan. She and Chip followed the team around the country, venturing to many places including Alaska, Hawaii, New Mexico, and New York City to cheer on the Hoosiers. Darlene also loved the summers spent in Ocean City, NJ, where she made many friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Donna Joan Holly, and her precious grandson, Joshua Weaver. In addition to her husband, Darlene is survived by her four children, Tab Weaver (Dalene), Brett Weaver (Linda), Jodee Tuggle (Mark), and Kamala Weaver; her 10 grandchildren, Troy (Bethany), Holly, Hannah, Trace, Trevor, Justin, Zachary, Colton, Coree, and Chase; her great-grandson, Bryce; and her brother, Nicholas Feuchtmayer. Darlene loved her family and always put them first. Her inner strength came from her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her beautiful and kind spirit will live on through the many lives she touched. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 30 from 5-7 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street, and on Monday, December 1 from 1-2 PM at Ellenberger United Church of Christ, 5520 E. 10th Street, Indianapolis, with funeral services following.
