Danny Ray
Shirley
Aug 1, 1952 — Aug 29, 2026
Indianapolis, Indiana
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny Shirley, who was called home by the Lord at the age of 74. His passing came much sooner than anyone expected, leaving a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Danny was a man of strong faith who loved the Lord above all else. He cherished his family and found great joy in the time he spent with them. His life was a testament to the importance of faith, love, forgiveness, and gratitude. If Danny could share one final message with us, it would be: "Be happy, don't hold grudges. It's not worth the time you lose." He believed that life was too precious and too short to spend carrying burdens of anger or regret. Today, we find comfort in knowing that Danny has been reunited in Heaven with his parents and brothers. Though we grieve his absence here on earth, we rejoice in the assurance that he is at peace in the presence of his Savior. Danny would want those he loved to embrace each day with purpose and joy. He often reminded others that time is short-lived and never guaranteed. His legacy encourages us all to live life as if there is no tomorrow, to forgive freely, love wholeheartedly, and make the most of every moment we are given. As we remember Danny, let us honor his memory by living out the simple but powerful lesson he leaves behind: Love today, because tomorrow might be too late. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all who knew him.
