Danny Sankowsky

Danny Sankowsky, 53, of Fortville passed away on August 12, 2015. He was born June 11, 1962 in Hammond, Indiana to Peter and Florence Sankowsky. Danny loved fishing, dogs and was a life-long Colts fan. He was a grill master, known for his hamburgers. His greatest love was his family. He treasured time with his kids and was known as "Pop" to all of the neighborhood kids. He is preceded in death by his mother, Florence and his brother, Peter, Jr. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Lorri and his children, Caitlin (Matt) Moorman and Daniel E. Sankowsky, his sister, Barbara (Fred) Pfettscher and his nephew, Petie Sherwood. A celebration of Danny's life will be from 2-6 PM Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
