Danny L. Mckinney

Danny L. McKinney, 70, passed away July 23, 2021. He was born in Brazil, IN on May 1, 1951 to the late George William and Katchen Koget McKinney.

Danny and his family moved to the Indianapolis area when he was about 12 years old and after completing high school, he went on to gain certifications in graphic design. He ended up retiring from The Kroger Co. and dedicated many years to working as a graphic artist for the company.

He was a dedicated father and spent more recent years enjoying being a grandfather to 11 grandchildren. His family was a huge part of his life along with his fur babies, especially the late Dutchess, his beloved goldendoodle.

Danny was a lover of all sports and was a lifetime fan of the Indianapolis Colts. He spent many years participating in local bowling leagues and was also was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa S. McKinney; children, Danny W. McKinney, Scott McKinney, Holley Schwab, and Sonja McKinney; as well as 11 adoring grandchildren.
