86, of Indianapolis, passedaway June 2, 2016. Dan was born October 24, 1929 to Wilbert and Anna (Webster)Bernhardt in South Bend, IN. Dan waspreceded in death by his parents and his sister, Catherine Weller.

Dan retired from UnionCarbide as a Mechanical Designer Engineer. He was a member of the IndianapolisComputer Society, Scientech Club, and an advisor for the Crossroads of AmericaBoy Scout Band. During his 22-yearresidence at Robin Run he proudly raised and lowered the flag daily.

He is survived by his wife of62 years, Esther Bernhardt; sons, Webb Bernhardt (Cynthia) and David Bernhardt;daughters, Audrey Hartman (Paul) and Phyllis Tubesing; five grandchildren andeight great grandchildren.
