Daniel M. Lewis

Daniel Magee Lewis, 68, of Indianapolis, formerly of California, passed away in his home Friday, September 5th, 2025, with his wife Sandi and daughter Chelsea by his side. 

Daniel was born May 4th, 1957, in Lakewood, California to Daniel and Virginia Lewis. 

He is survived by his wife Sandi, daughter Chelsea, sister Margaret, son in law Jason, aunt Cheri, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his youngest daughter Amber. 

Daniel was born and raised in California, where he attended Lakewood Highschool before joining the Navy. He was a journeyman plumber by trade. He enjoyed football, basketball, and golf. But most of all, he valued loving God and his family. 

Daniel's celebration of life will be Saturday November 8th, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46229), from 1-3pm. Family will begin their time of sharing at 2pm.
