Daniel J. Anderson

Daniel J. Anderson, passed away May 26, 2017. He was born June 1, 1931 in Bellmore, New York, to the late Daniel E. and Katherine E. (Wolf) Anderson.

He served his country, family, and community. A devoted husband and father to his family, he also was active in Vasa, the Nationalities Council of Indianapolis, INPAW's, Master Gardeners, stamp collecting, volunteer at the Children's Museum, world traveler, and an active member at his church. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Daniel is survived by his beloved daughter, Dawn Anderson Schmer; his son-in-law, Gunter Schmer; his granddaughter, Christiana Joy; and his fiancée, Carol Sternecker.

He was preceded in passing by his loving wife, Sophia L. Anderson; his daughter, Linda Kay Anderson, and his son, Daniel J Anderson II.
