Daniel Danny' Barton, Sr.

73 years old, Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Monday,March 21, 2016. Danny was born on March1, 1943 to the late Thomas and Esther (Lepper) Barton. In the neighborhood where he grew up, Dannymet the love of his life, Yolanda Sexton. The two were married in 1960 and were blessed with four children. Danny took pride in being the very firstemployee and trusted associate of O’Malia’s Food Market, serving as the producemanager for 46 years.

Danny was a fun,outdoors loving husband and father, who very much enjoyed the land he lived on:feeding birds, watching squirrels, fishing, and adding to his lawn ornamentcollection. You could find him watchingold westerns, mimicking the cowboy’s quick draw.

Danny is survivedby his loving wife of 55 years, Yolanda Barton; his children: Daniel JosephBarton, Jr. (Sally), Donald Barton (Julie), Thomas Barton and Robin McGill(Mike); grandchildren: Daniel Barton, III, Matthew Barton, Megan Hart (Isaac),Donald Barton, Jr., and Jonathan Barton; sister, Anna McGinnis (Charles) andseveral nieces and nephews.

Friends may callfrom 11am until 1pm on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St,Indianapolis, where funeral services will immediately follow at 1pm. Entombment will be in Washington Park EastCemetery.
