Dale 'Cowboy' Bays

Dale "Cowboy" Bays, Sr. 86, of Indianapolis, passed away December 1, 2012. He was born June 16, 1926 to Ralph and Cora Mae Bays. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jean; sons, Dale (Rhonda) Bays, Jr. and Mike (Kathy) Bays, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two brothers, Don (Pat) Bays and Ralph Bays. He worked as a plumber at the State Fairgrounds for 15 years. Prior to that, he worked in Fountain Square. Cowboy was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street.
