In Loving Memory of Cynthia Lynn Stevenson

August 24, 1964 – October 24, 2026

Cynthia Lynn Stevenson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a beautiful soul whose presence made life a little brighter for everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Cynthia was a down-to-earth woman with a wonderful sense of humor and a heart that was always there for the people she loved. She was the kind of person you could count on when you needed someone, whether you needed a helping hand or simply someone to make you laugh. Her smile was unforgettable, and her laugh had a special way of lifting your spirits, no matter how difficult the day had been. She had a way of making people feel better just by being herself, and that is a gift that will never be forgotten.

Cynthia found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. She loved crafting and creating things with her hands, but one of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. Those moments together were precious, filled with love and memories that her family will hold close to their hearts forever. The love she gave her grandchildren was a lasting gift, one they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Above all, Cynthia’s family was an important part of her life. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Luke Stevenson; her children, Cory Stevenson and Caitlyn Dowdy; and her cherished grandchildren, Carson Dowdy, Lillian Stevenson, and Madelynn Stevenson.

She is also survived by her beloved siblings, Linda Dye, Kim Mattingly, Mark Sizemore, Joe Sizemore, and Mike Sizemore, who will carry their own special memories of the sister they loved.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Steven Sizemore and Francis Sizemore.

Losing someone so special leaves an emptiness that words can never fully express. There will be moments when her family longs to hear her laugh, see her beautiful smile, or simply have her there when they need her most. Though her absence will be felt in countless ways, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain forever.

Cynthia’s life was a reminder that it is often the simplest things—a good laugh, a warm smile, a helping hand, and time spent with the people we love—that leave the greatest mark on our hearts. Her love will continue to live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and all those who were blessed to know her.

Though she has left this world, the love she gave and the memories she created will never fade. She will forever be loved, forever be missed, and never be forgotten.
