Cynthia Rueschhoff

On October 15^th, 2023 Cynthia Annette Chura Rueschhoff passed away surrounded by her family after her 23-yearlong battle with cancer. Cindy grew up in St. Louis and was most proud of being a graduate of the Cor Jesu Academy, class of ’77. She devoted her life to her family and to the service of others throughout her local community, especially the OLMC parish and serving the Merciful H.E.L.P. Center.  She was a team manager, classroom mom, Girl Scout leader, and proud Purdue mom (FIJI/Theta). However, her favorite roles were being Mom and Grammie.  

  Cindy was an amazing wife to Tom Rueschhoff; devoted mother of Brian (Chelsea) Rueschhoff, Zach (Sara) Rueschhoff, Brett Rueschhoff and Reilly Rueschhoff; loving Grammie to Ava, Reagan, Paul and Charlie; dear sister to Jim (Caroline) Chura, Chris Chura, Mary Hackett, Laura (Steve) Eise, and Kate Chura; proud daughter of the late Peggy and Don Chura.  

Services: Visitation at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oak Ridge Rd, Carmel, IN on Thursday, October, 19th from 4-8pm. Funeral provided by FLANNER BUCHANAN, Friday, October 20th. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 9:45 am. Internment immediately following the mass at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Merciful H.E.L.P. Center are appreciated.
