Cynthia A. “Cindy” Johnson, 61 of Arcadia, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Cindy was born August 5, 1964 in El Paso, TX to the late Rodger E. and Betty L. Ericson. She was a graduate of Taylor University.

Cindy served as Vice President of Research Services at Harper Global, a leading market research firm dedicated to the healthcare industry. She was deeply committed to ensuring that patient voices and stories were not only heard but truly understood. Colleagues and clients alike admired her for her creativity, insight, and thoughtfulness.

Her greatest joy in life was her son, Michael — and right beside him, her beloved dogs: Daisy, affectionately known as “The Princess,” and Oddie. Whether she was outside listening to birdsong or curled up indoors streaming the latest reality show, Cindy found deep happiness in their company.

A true film enthusiast, she had an enduring passion for cinema and was a devoted movie buff. The Oscars held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in celebrating the magic of storytelling year after year. Her favorite quote? ‘Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.’ She lived like life was a great film — full of plot twists, big moments, and always worth watching till the credits rolled.

Cindy is survived by her son, Michael N. Johnson (spouse Mackenzie); granddaughters, Octavia and Veronica Styles; sister, Bev (husband, David) Silvey; brother, Rodger (wife, Kathy) Ericson.

In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Cindy’s wishes, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in her name to Woody’s Place Senior German Shepherd Sanctuary, 183 Hemlock Grove Rd., Greentown, PA 18426, or online at www.wpsgss.org.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
