Craig Louis Burton

Craig Louis Burton, 53, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away in his sleep on May 9, 2021 after a long battle with alcohol addiction. He was a loving husband of Kimmie (Moore) Burton and father to Lucy, Adeline, and Leo Burton.

Craig fiercely loved his family.  He loved gathering his friends, a quiet moment with a pipe in hand, great food, good art, a front porch filled with people, great music, good literature and being silly in an overly serious world.  His laughter was explosive and infectious.

Craig is also survived by his mom, Darlene Burton, brother, Jim Burton, and aunt, Pam Burton (Jack Hines).

Viewing will be held at Redeemer Presbyterian Church at 1505 N. Delaware St. in Indianapolis at noon on Friday, May 14, with the funeral following at 1pm. The family will open their home to receive friends and extended family Saturday, May 15 from 1pm-5pm. Any and all are welcome to stop by.
