Connie Maxine Griffin, 78, of Greenfield, IN passed away August 2,2021 surrounded by family. She was born in Indianapolis on June 4, 1943 to the late Harold Raymond and Dora Belle Rhinehart Thompson.

She attended local catholic schools and after high school went on to raise her family and work in a variety of careers through the years. She worked at RCA as well as Lau Blowers, but dedicated much of her career as the President of the Steel Workers Union. She was the loving matriarch of her family and will be missed by all.

Connie is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Errol E. Griffin; children, Cathy Jo Thompson, James Dean Baker, Angela (Dan Riffey) Rogers, David Wayne (Chain-ann) Baker; as well as 7 grandchildren and 11 beloved great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 4-7pm with a funeral service to begin at 7pm at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Graveside services will be held the following day on Friday, August 6th at 10 am at Memorial Park Cemetery.
