Indianapolis, Indiana – Colton Vaughn, 18, left this world far too soon on August 1, 2026. His sweet spirit, kind heart, and wonderful sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Colton was born to parents Kyle and Bethany (Farrell) Vaughn on October 23, 2007, in Indianapolis, Indiana. A talented math prodigy with a passion for robotics, Colton was a proud member of the 1024 Kil-A-Bytes team. He graduated with high honors from Lawrence North High School in May and looked forward to attending Purdue University this fall to study engineering, where he was especially excited to take Calculus III.

Colton loved to travel and was fortunate to visit England, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, and Japan. Japan held a special place in his heart, and he often begged his family to return with him one day. He also cherished the many family vacations they shared, especially those spent exploring the mountains and enjoying beautiful scenery.

As a member of the eSports Club, Colton enjoyed climbing the ranks in Rocket League, competing with friends in Super Smash Bros., playing Fortnite or watching anime. He was also a talented photographer who loved capturing memorable moments with his iPhone and always made sure he had the latest upgrades.

Colton was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jeff Farrell and cousin, Noah Farrell.
