Clyde R. Crawford

Clyde Crawford passed away peacefully on July 13, 2015, with his family at his side. He was loved by all. He was born in Warnock, Kentucky to the late Robert and Sadie Crawford. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Lillie Crawford, sisters Susan Johnson and Lucy Mills, daughter Deborah Mitchell, three sons Terry Crawford, Dennis Crawford, and Kevin Crawford, Grandchildren, Kristina Burns, Denny Crawford, Vanessa Powell, Misti Crawford, Jason Mitchell, Ricki Crawford, Ladonna Mitchell, Kevin Mitchell, Tasha Spangler, and Chaunta Crawford, step grandchildren Justin Abner and Nicki Abner, and twelve great granchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Kathleen Crawford, and grandson Derek Crawford, Brothers Charles Crawford, Newton Crawford, Sisters Mary Campbell, Esther Crawford, Anasarah Flannery, and Polina Edggers Clyde enlisted in the U.S. Army where he proudly served our country during the Korean War. After service he worked for Chevrolet as a Press Operator where he retired from after 30 years. Clyde was a member at the VFW and the American Legion. Visitation will be held Friday July 17, 2015 11-2 pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park 425 N. Holt Rd. with the funeral services to follow on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral center.
