Clifford E. Dillon

Clifford E. Dillon of Indianapolis passed away on December 11, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 81.

He was born October 18, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Joseph W. Dillon and Verneda Dillon Cannon.

Clifford attended Tech High School.  He served his country in the US Army. He retired after many years of service for Conway Central Express.

He was a longtime member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.  He enjoyed playing euchre every Tuesday with his Teamsters Euchre Club, trips to Florida, and spending every cherished moment he could with his family.  He will be remembered for his gregarious, outgoing nature and his smile.  He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Leola J. Dillon; son Roger E. Dillon (Christine); daughters Brenda Karns (Bryan) and Rhonda Ramsey (Steve); grandchildren Jacob Dillon (Anna), Jessica Dillon, Luke Dillon, Cassie Stout, and Brandon Ramsey; and brother Larry Dillon.

He was preceded in death by his grandson Jerimiah Shane and siblings William Dillon, Faith Joy Landis, and Janice Dooley.

The family is holding private services.
