Clenton Howard

Clenton Howard, 82, of New Palestine passed away Monday, February 2, 2015. He was born March 6, 1932 in Tompkinsville, KY to the late Marlin G. and Gladys Gentry Howard. Clenton proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was always a hard worker, and retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed travelling – especially with his family, whom he loved dearly. Surviving is his wife of over 60 years, Lorene Guffey Howard; his children Donald (Kim) Howard, Ralph (Diane) Howard, Thomas Howard, Carolyn Davis, and Jackie (Phaedra) Howard; grandchildren Paige, Deanne, Brian, James, Christopher, Emma, Ryan, Daniel, Kyle, Bradley, Jared, and Jeniece; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several siblings. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
