Claude H. Ogden

Claude Henry "Junior" Ogden 89 of Indianapolis died May 04, 2013. Claude was born in Indianapolis, one of ten children to his parents Claude Emmert and Rosabelle (Chastine) Ogden. Claude served our country in the United States Army during WWII in the European Theater. In 1946 he married the love of his life Marcheta "Marty" Showalter Ogden after coming home from the service. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters. Claude was baptized at Tuxedo Baptist Church, a member 46 years at Covenant Baptist Church and currently attending Speedway General Baptist Church. Claude was a member of the Speedway Masonic Lodge #729 and the American Legion Post. Claude is survived by his wife Marty Ogden and his son Thomas (Dawn) Ogden seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Calling will be held on Tuesday May 07, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 4 to 8 pm followed by a funeral service on Wednesday May 08, 2013 at Noon with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. The family would like to thank and acknowledge all the wonderful care and compassion given by the I.U.
