Clarice Faye Hennon

Clarice Faye Hennon passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20th, 2020, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on March 16, 1935 in Bloomington, Indiana to Morris R. Graves and Martha Lois (Mood) Graves. She attended Indiana University and graduated with a Master of Dietetics. During her career, she worked at Long Hospital and University Hospital in Indianapolis; the IU Hypertension Research program; and later with the WIC (Women, Infant, Children) program in Marion County. Clarice was an accomplished seamstress, chef, artist, and gardener, and she loved to read mystery novels.
It was in Bloomington that she would meet the love of her life, David K. (Doc) Hennon, and they were married on June 16, 1957. They were married for 59 years, prior to his death in 2017.
Clarice was a loving and devoted mother, and she is survived by her children, David (Laura) Hennon, Michael (Kristin) Hennon; her brother, Eric (Terri) Graves; her sister-in law Mary Lou Graves; her beloved grandchildren, David Hennon, Daniel Hennon, Emma Hennon, Lucy Hennon, Sela Hennon, and John Hennon; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 3 siblings.
A private funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, May 1st, but a public celebration of life service will be scheduled on a date to be determined, after stay at home and travel restrictions are lifted.
