Claire Epstein Schmidt

Claire Epstein Schmidt (78) of Carmel, Indiana died on December 18, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Elberna Epstein of Toledo, OH and her husband Edward Michael Schmidt.  She is survived by her son Andrew Singer (Jamie) of Knoxville, TN and her granddaughter Pauline Singer, as well as her stepsons Gregory Schmidt (E. Smith), Christopher Schmidt (Molly), Brian Schmidt (Angela), Daniel Schmidt (Christine). 

Claire never met an animal she would not pet, a grammatical mistake she could not fix, nor a beach she did not like. 

Claire would have wished for donations to be made in her honor to the Home for Friendless Animals.
