Cindy Diann Young

Cindy DiAnn Young, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013. She was born on July 14, 1957 in Indianapolis to Virgil and LaVern (Green) McCloud. Cindy was a 1975 graduate of Decatur High School and worked for Target for 13 years. When she wasn't working outside of the home, Cindy was busy caring for her family, shopping at goodwill and finding bargains at garage sales and antique shops. Cindy also enjoyed collecting Native American Art, watching old movies, including her favorite, Gone with the Wind, and traveling, most recently to Yellowstone National Park. Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Robert Young II; daughters, Courtney Wilder and Paisley Young; grandchildren, Jacy Earle, Autumn Wilder and Keegan Young. Cindy is also survived by her mother; brother, Steve McCloud and family; and in-laws, Robert Young Sr. and Elizabeth Young; Richard Ray and family; Angie Apley and family. Funeral services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 11am. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4 until 8pm at the funeral home, and also 1 hour prior to the services on Tuesday. Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
