Christopher Allen Whitesel, 62, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025. Born on Christmas Eve, 1962, in Wabash, Indiana, to Dale and Margaret (Sample) Whitesel, Christopher lived a life filled with warmth, dedication, and joy.

A proud graduate of Bluffton High School (1981) and Manchester University (BS, 1985), Christopher built a remarkable career at The Heritage Group, where he served as a Financial Analyst for 34 years. His professionalism, kindness, and infectious enthusiasm earned him the admiration and affection of colleagues and friends alike. A devoted member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church, Christopher’s faith guided his compassionate and generous spirit.

Christopher was a lifelong fan of Cubs baseball and Colts football. He found solace in fishing, excitement on the golf course, and relaxation in video games, movies, and TV shows. Above all, he treasured laughter-filled gatherings with friends and family, where his warmth and humor shined brightest.

Throughout his life, Christopher’s greatest joy was his family. He treasured every moment spent with his beloved wife of 32 years, Terry Whitesel, his son Jacob (Amie) Whitesel, and his cherished nine-month-old grandson, Beckett, who brought light to his days. He also held close his stepdaughter, Amber Riedlinger, sister Jane Garner, brother Ron (Tina) Whitesel, aunt Shirley Paul, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Margaret Whitesel; father-in-law, William Boltz; mother-in-law, Imogene Boltz; brother-in-law, Mike Boltz; uncles, Phil Sample, Leonard Sample, and James “Jim” Paul; and loving in-laws.

A visitation to celebrate Christopher’s life will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Rd., Westfield, IN 46062. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, with burial at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Christopher’s memory. His legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
